First Poppy shirts up for auction

The first three signed Leicester Tigers shirts worn in the club’s annual Remembrance fixture earlier this month are now available in a charity auction.

All proceeds from successful bids will go towards the Tigers Foundation Monument project, which will recognise and remember the Tigers players – as well as all those who served within the Royal Leicestershire Regiment – who died serving their country during both World Wars.

In this first charity auction, the signed shirts worn by international front-rower Facundo Gigena, club captain Tom Youngs and Rugby World Cup star Dan Cole in the European Challenge Cup win over Pau are open to bids from supporters.

Each shirt prominently features a Poppy on the chest, and is signed by the player who wore it in the 41-20 victory.

Fans can bid on each of the shirts on eBay now by using the link below. The auction closes at 10.00am this Thursday, November 28, with the next batch of shirts available on Friday.
