The first Tigers Rugby Camp of the summer is under way in northern Italy.

It is the second year that Leicester Tigers have taken their Rugby Camps to Italy, with dozens of young players aged nine to 16 being put through their paces at Calvisano rugby club.

Tosh Askew, Tigers’ Academy assistant manager, is leading the week-long coaching, with more than 100 players taking part.

Tigers are also holding a first-ever Rugby Camp in Scotland this week, at the GHA Rugby Club in Glasgow.

And our coaches return to Scotland next week when Loretto School in Musselburgh, East Lothian, are the hosts (July 7-11) and will also have a tag rugby camp for younger players over three half-days. Places are available now by clicking here.

Closer to home Coalville RFC hosts the first of Leicestershire’s Rugby Camps (July 14-18) before the coaches head to Market Bosworth, Melton Mowbray and Jersey rugby clubs the following week.

And there are a limited number of places remaining on the residential camp at Bishop Burton College (August 18-22). George Chuter, Craig Newby and Ian 'Dosser' Smith are the head coaches on the five-day camp which provides an outstanding opportunity for young and ambitious players who want to develop their game and spend a week as an elite rugby player.
