Leicester Tigers supporters enjoyed an early Christmas present thanks to a thrilling 35-24 Gallagher Premiership win over Harlequins the weekend before Christmas.
Welford Road welcomed more than 21,000 fans for the visit of Quins in the club’s final home game of 2018.
There was plenty of festive fun for the family to get stuck in with before kick-off with inflatable activities on the plaza as well as the Junior Tigers Club VIP area.
Fans were also showing off their Christmas jumpers, hats and outfits and with festive food and drink to keep energy levels up, the Welford Road crowd enjoyed at thrilling first of rugby which saw Tigers lead at the break.
Half-time saw the return of rugby’s biggest game of pass the parcel as 100 presents were distributed around the stadium with lucky fans unwrapping a layer when the music stopped, with Tigers goodies and treats for those lucky supporters.
Tigers also welcomed fans Stuart Randall and Judy Clarke down onto the pitch at half-time for a surprise announcement which saw Stuart ask Judy a very important question. And she said yes! Watch the moment Stuart gets down on one knee below.

Kibworth Ladies Choir got the crowd in the Christmas spirit with a number of carols, as two more groups took to the field at half-time to take on the Ultimate Big Boot challenge.
Following Tigers triumphant second half, fans wrapped up the day with resident band Rock Bottom and our Christmas DJ in the Final Whistle Bar of the Holland & Barrett Stand.
Tigers have an away day fixture against Bath Rugby on Sunday, December 30 (3.00pm) before kicking off the New Year at Welford Road with the visit of Gloucester on Saturday, January 5 2019 (3.00pm).
