Five Leicester Tigers players have retained in a 26-man England Under-20s squad ahead of the Six Nations opener against Italy.
The squad, who will be led by head coach Steve Bates, assembled at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre on Sunday ahead of Friday’s match at Stadio Enzo Bearzot, Gorizia.
Tigers development squad members Tom Hardwick, Jordan Olowofela, Ben White, Joe Heyes and Sam Lewis are among the group.
England include 12 players previously capped at this level, with nine also part of the squad that reached the final of the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Georgia last year.
Bates will be assisted by Anthony Allen, Richard Blaze and James Ponton as part of the coach development programme agreement signed between the RFU and Premiership Rugby.
