Home games in the Kings of the North and the Marcos Ayerza Testimonial Challenge fixture have been confirmed as Saturday afternoon kick-offs at Welford Road.Following the release of the Premier League football fixtures this week, and the home fixture dates for neighbours Leicester City FC, the Tigers can now confirm the timings of three big games in the build-up to the new season.
The Marcos Ayerza Testimonial Challenge between the Tigers and Los Pumas – just two weeks before Argentina launch their World Cup campaign against the All Blacks – is a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, September 5 at Welford Road.
The two home games in the Kings of the North are against Newcastle Falcons on Saturday, September 19 and Sale Sharks on Saturday, October 10. Both will kick off at 3pm.
Entry to Kings of the North home fixtures is included in Tigers season tickets. For more information on booking your place with a season ticket click here.
Match tickets for the Kings of the North home fixtures are due to go on general sale at the end of next week.
Tickets for the Marcos Ayerza fixture are available now from the Tigers ticket office which is located inside the Club Store in the corner of the MET-RX Stand at the stadium. The Aviva Premiership season kicks off on the weekend of October 17/18. Fixtures are due to be announced on Friday, July 3.
