Ford 'excited' to be playing again

In his first interview since returning to pre-season training alongside his Leicester team mates ahead of the 2018/19 season, Tigers and England fly-half George Ford chats with LTTV.

Ford, who was one of four Tigers to tour South Africa with England at the conclusion of last season, discusses his off-season which included a golf holiday with close mate Jonny May upon returning from the three Test series against the Springboks and his own need for a break following the trip with his team mate.

In an early indication he will be involved for the first time this pre-season, on Friday night at Welford Road, the 25-year-old admitted to being "excited" about a return to action against London Irish and also shares his thoughts on the new additions to the squad in the form of Will Spencer, David Denton and Kyle Eastmond.

The latter, a former team mate of Ford's at Bath, is also currently a house-guest of Ford's after his move to Leicester over the summer and the Tigers fly-half opens up on the differences between Eastmond and May, who was his 'room mate' at this time last year.
