Former Leicester lock Joe Cain has been named head coach of Tigers Global Partner Club, Dendermonde RC in Belgium.
The second row forward, who appeared for Tigers for five seasons after graduating from the club's academy in 2009, was forced to retire through injury in 2014 and transitioned in to coaching as a Rugby Development Officer in Leicester's community department.
Cain's first head coach role was with St Martin's Ampleforth in North Yorkshire before making the move to South East Asia to take up a role with Tigers fellow Global Partner Club KL Tigers and the British International School of Kuala Lumpur.
After two season's in Kuala Lumpur, Cain will now move to Belgium to join Dendermonde after the departure of Dries Michiels who helped the guide the club to both the men's and women's league wins in 2018.
Cain's role will also involve the training of all DRC coaches and the day-to-day implementation of the global partnership strategy with Leicester Tigers.
