Members of the Supporters’ Forum met at Welford Road this week to share feedback on a range of subjects including the matchday experience and stadium catering.
A group of more than 40 members discussed the club's new joint venture with catering partner Levy UK and a commitment to a ‘cashless stadium’ which has now been in place at four home games, with the club addressing questions and planning to share an update on catering activity since the start of the season.
Attention also turned to the rugby, with recent form highlighted as well as expectations over the coming months with the return of senior international players, the start of a new European campaign in the Challenge Cup plus wider topics across the game.
Under 'Any Other Business' topics included half-time entertainment, the Junior Tigers Club, stewarding, club culture and a ‘fan-created agenda’ for future forums.
We are always keen for the Forum to represent a broad cross-section of supporters drawn from different backgrounds and areas including season ticket holders, general admission, corporate guests, supporters who attend away games as well as families, female fans, ethnic minorities, disabled fans and juniors.
If you would like to be considered to join the forum, please send an email detailing your background with Tigers and why you should be considered to [email protected].
