The Leicester Tigers Open Day at Welford Road on Sunday, August 24 promises to be a great day out for the whole family.

Come and join us for a full programme of events at the home of the Tigers from 11am to 4pm, indoors and out, as well as refreshments, barbeque and other food outlets.

You can look around the stadium’s facilities, visit the dressing rooms and experience a virtual reality tour of the new-look stadium as work begins on Welford Road redevelopment.

Activities on the pitch include human bar football, bouncy castle, bungee run and Sumo suit wrestling.

The Tigers first-team squad will be joining in the fun – including new signings Toby Flood, Ben Woods and Julien Dupuy – and they will be available to meet supporters, sign autographs and pose for photos, as well as taking part in a fashion show promoting club kit and merchandise.

You can also meet new Leicester Tigers head coach Heyneke Meyer and his staff ahead of the new season.

“This is the perfect time to throw open our doors to supporters, with the new season almost upon us and work starting on the redevelopment of the stadium,” said Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton.

“We have not held an Open Day for a number of years but we are sure it will be a popular event for supporters and also those who have not been to Welford Road before.”

Entry to the Tigers Open Day is free to all supporters. Make it a day out for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you.
