Leicester Tigers take on Northampton Saints on Friday, March 22 (7.45pm) having seen off the challenge of Wasps 19-14 in the first Battle of the Midlands fixture this month.
Big rivalries call for big moments, which is why the club will be putting on a Friday night spectacular for supporters as local rivals go head-to-head.
Welford Road will be lit up with the club’s famous green, white and red colours with live music and food out on the plaza ahead of the evening kick-off, including the chance to win a signed Tigers shirt if you can guess the right code on the lock.
Resident band Rock Bottom’s guitarist Paul Adkins will welcome both teams onto the pitch with a live performance of the club’s cult anthem ‘Smoke on the Water’ accompanied by a fiery backdrop.
Coming straight from work? Don’t worry, we’ll be running a special pie and pint for £2 offer in the Final Whistle Bar (Holland & Barrett Stand) from 5.45pm to 6.45pm.
Fans can grab homemade pie, mash and gravy for just £2 and where they will also receive a voucher for a free pint of Everards Tighthead beer. There's only a very limited number of beer vouchers available so be sure to arrive for 5.45pm to avoid disappointment. *£1 cup deposit required
The club distributed 10,000 flags around the stadium during Tigers victory over Wasps and fans are encouraged to bring them along to help cheer the lads on.
The Junior Tiger Club will be open from 5.45pm with games, activities and a chance to meet and ask questions to two Tigers players.
The match will also celebrate The Matt Hampson Foundation as one of the club’s official charities with fundraising towards the charity taking place on the plaza and around the stadium.
