Full schedule of Tigers Rugby Camps for summer

Leicester Tigers Rugby camps are now available to book for the summer!

After the popularity of the Easter camps across the region, there is now a programme in place for the May/June half-term and into the school summer holidays.

Tamworth and Wymondham rugby clubs are our hosts during the week beginning May 30, with sessions for girls and boys from under-7s up to teenagers.

In the summer, beginning on July 30 for the period up to the end of August, there are Tigers Rugby Camps at the following venues:

  • Holt RFC
  • Lichfield RFC
  • Market Harborough RUFC
  • Newark RFC
  • Sheffield Tigers RFC
  • Shipston-on-Stour RFC
  • SMB Brooksby Campus
  • Stafford RFC
  • Stamford School
  • Syston RFC
  • Trent College

There is something for every young player, girls and boys, from under-7s up to teenagers with the focus on skills development in a fun and physically active setting with professional coaches from the Tigers community team.

Camps are split into four categories to provide the best possible experience throughout the age-groups.

Tag Rugby Camps provide a contact-free introduction to rugby for the under-7 and under-8 age-groups, with games and activities over three mornings to help develop fundamental movement, rugby and social skills.

The Core Camp is run over 4 or 5 full days for the under-9s to under-13s age-groups with sessions based on fun activities, rugby skills and fundamental fitness.

Development Camps sessions are for under-14, 15 and 16 players on three afternoons with a sharper focus on tactical and technical skills alongside athletic development, based on the themes of the Tigers Junior Academy and ACE college programmes.

Girls-Only Camps are suitable for all abilities in the under-13, 15 and 18 groups to develop skills, confidence and game awareness.

Places are available to book online, or phone the Tigers ticket office team on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).
