Welford handed out JTC goodie bags and posed for photos with the young players, who were able to take on the Speed Pass Challenge.
Freddie Clarke, 15, of Old Coventrians RFC, had the highest Speed Pass Challenge score in the fastest time and won a place on a Tigers Rugby Camp. He has chosen to attend the camp at Bablake School in Coventry in August.
Tigers will return to Kenilworth RFC to run a Tigers Rugby Camp from May 28-31.
Rugby camps are open to all players from the under-9 to under-16 age groups, girls and boys. All players will receive top-quality coaching, a Leicester Tigers match ticket, a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball, drinks bottle and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club, supported by Crusha.
The rest of this year's Rugby Camps programme is taking shape, with masterclasses, tag and four and five-day events spread across the Tigers region featuring top-class coaching.
