Geordan to lead out Tigers against Bath

Geordan Murphy and Martin Castrogiovanni return to the Leicester Tigers line-up for Saturday's home game against Bath Rugby at Welford Road (3pm).

The two form teams in the Guinness Premiership go head to head for the third time this season in league and cup with Murphy and Castrogiovanni restored to the team after their recovery from injury.

England lock Louis Deacon also returns in the second row alongside Geoff Parling, with Tom Croft, Lewis Moody and Jordan Crane making up an all-England back row.

“We had a good win on the road last week at Worcester, which has traditionally been a tough place to go for us,” said head coach Richard Cockerill.

“Now we have just four rounds of the Guinness Premiership to go and we want to keep our momentum going.

“Bath are in good form, we’re in good form, Saturday should be a good game. Both sides want to play, both sides are scoring tries and it is important for both sides to win.”

Welford Road hosts an Easter Double Header on Saturday as the Guinness Premiership fixture will be followed at 5.20pm by a match between Leicester Tigers Academy and Under-19 England Academies.

Both matches are included in the usual ticket price. Tickets are still available from the Tigers ticket office. Phone the hotline on 0844 856 1880, book online and collect on matchday, or call in at Welford Road. The ticket office is open until 5pm on Good Friday and from 9am on matchday.
