Today sees the launch of Project Welford 2014, our supporter survey covering all aspects of your experience with Leicester Tigers.

Now in its third year, Project Welford is our official annual survey that gives you the chance to give us your feedback on matchdays at Welford Road, stadium facilities, how we communicate with you and other Tigers matters.

We want everyone in the Tigers Family to have the opportunity to have their say about OUR club and want you to be able to make the most of your links with the Tigers.

At the start of this season, we had a 12% increase in the number of fans who rated their overall experience with Leicester Tigers as Excellent.

Also, at the end of the 2012/13 season, 78% of fans said the club listens to and is run for the fans, while at the start of the 2013/14 season this had risen to 88.1%.

These improvements come from listening to your feedback, which is why Project Welford is so important to us.

For example, here are a few things that we have done to improve our matchday experience:
  • Ticket Office has seen improved ratings across all aspects of helpfulness, quality of service and speed of service (bigger/dedicated customer services team who receive ongoing training)
  • 95.9% of fans wanted a big screen, which we installed this season.
  • The area that you wanted to improve the most was the speed of service at food and bar outlets. Working with our catering partners Centerplate, a number of additional tills have been added to increase efficiency – with more to come for the start of 2014/15 – and there are more staff employed on matchdays, together with improved signage and queuing systems.

As a thank-you to any support who completes Project Welford, we’ll also enter you into a prize draw to win hospitality for four people to the first home game of the 2014/15 season.

Thank you for all your support.
