Vereniki Goneva has won the first Goldsmiths Player of the Month award of the 2013/14 season.
Goneva has been outstanding form on the wing and at centre in the opening month and is Tigers’ leading scorer so far this campaign with three tries in his first five games.

The Fiji international opened his account against Worcester Warriors in the first Aviva Premiership game of the season and followed it with tries at home to Newcastle Falcons and away to Exeter Chiefs.
He won the Goldsmiths Player of the Month award ahead of teammates David Mele and Niall Morris.
