Dan Kelly is to appear before an independent disciplinary panel on Tuesday (October 5) after a citing from Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership win over Saracens.
The Leicester Tigers back was cited by independent citing commissioner Duncan Bell following the match at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday (October 2) for striking with shoulder contrary to World Rugby Law 9.12.
The independent disciplinary panel on Tuesday will be chaired by Mike Hamlin with Rob Vickerman and one other panel member to be confirmed.
Leicester Tigers will make no further comment while the matter remains ongoing.
