Tigers Past Players turned out in force for Sunday's game in aid of the Matt Hampson Foundation, gaining a 39-24 win over Leicestershire Constabulary.

The Tigers old boys, known as the Droglites, selected from a squad of 30 including former England internationals Richard Cockerill, Darren Garforth and Dorian West who combined to form a formidable front row, and Tim Stimpson.

Harry Ellis and Ian ‘Dosser’ Smith were among a big crowd for the game at Oval Park, while Leicestershire Constabulary provided vehicle displays and a police dog demonstration which proved popular with visitors.

The Droglites are on tour in France next month and stage their annual reunion match on May 7 when Leicester Thursday provide the opposition before both teams join Tigers for the Aviva Premiership match against London Irish at Welford Road.
