Green makes Under-20s debut

Leicester Tigers lock Calum Green will make his England Under-20s debut in the RBS U20 Six Nations match against Wales at Gloucester on Friday evening.

Green, who played in the Tigers second row during last Friday’s LV= Cup win over Bath Rugby, is joined in the England ranks by clubmates Sam Harrison and Will Hurrell.

"We're excited about the potential of this group and we've got a nice blend of young players coming into the side together with those who were involved with us last year," said head coach Mark Mapletoft.

"We want to play an exciting brand of rugby at a high tempo and they've all bought into that.

"We're under no illusions that Wales will be a really difficult test. Both sides will want to play and move the ball, so it should make for a great contest."

The match is being shown live by Sky Sports 2/HD3 on Friday evening from 7.30pm.
