The fixture list revealed by Premier Rugby Ltd today gives Tigers a trip to Kingsholm on the opening weekend of the season (September 5/6/7).
The opening month of the season concludes with two home games in the space of one week as Tigers host defending Guinness Premiership champions London Wasps and then stage first East Midlands derby of the season against Northampton Saints in a midweek evening kick-off.
The Guinness Premiership Final is confirmed for May 16, 2009. This will avoid any clash with the date of the opening fixture of the British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa.
Specific dates for matches will now be set by the clubs and the first set of live Sky Sports matches will be announced in due course. All fixtures are subject to alteration. Please check the Tigers official website for updates.
Details of the fixtures in the EDF Energy Cup and Heineken Cup are still to be confirmed.
Season tickets are now available from the Leicester Tigers ticket office. Individual match ticket details will be announced in mid-July. Please watch the Tigers website and Tigerzine for details.
