Former Leicester Tigers favourite Scott Hamilton is part of the club's community coaching team that has kicked off a summer of Rugby Camps at Jersey RFC.Capped twice by the All Blacks, Hamilton scored 31 tries in 142 Tigers appearances and was a hugely popular member of the squad during his seven year at Tigers.
The versatile back-three player joined Coventry as a player-coach in the summer and now, thanks to the continued support of Ashburton Investments, Hamilton is passing on that wealth of experience to the next generation of players on the week-long camp at Jersey RFC.
Tigers are also holding camps at the University of Leicester, where centre Charlie Thacker, who attended Tigers camps as a young player, is due to drop in for a Q&A. New signing Dom barrow, meanwhile, is due to visit the camp at Coalville RFC.
Tigers are also hosting camps based at clubs and schools in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire during the rest of the summer holidays and places are filling up fast, with the Lichfield camp (July 27 to July 31) already sold out.
