Handré Pollard helped South Africa clinch The Rugby Championship with a 48-7 win over Julián Montoya's Argentina in Nelspruit.
The Leicester Tigers fly-half kicked three conversions for the Springboks in the 41-point win, securing their first TRC title since 2019 and their fifth southern hemisphere title overall.
Montoya's men just miss out on the championship, having taken their quest for an inaugural trophy all the way to the final day. The Leicester skipper captained the side across the tournament, which included a win for Los Pumas over Australia, New Zealand and South Africa for the first time in a single competition.
The Tigers duo will now return to the East Midlands to join up with their clubmates.
