Sam Harrison says pre-season doesn’t get any easier as he embarks upon his 10th with Leicester Tigers.

The bulk of the squad returned for the start of pre-season training this morning, with the first session held at the University of Leicester’s Stoughton Road playing fields.

“It doesn’t feel that long since it was this time last year and I feel equally as horrible after the first session back!" Harrison joked after the first session. "It’s good to be back. It’s good to see the boys and meet the new lads.

“I am getting into double figures in pre-season. I am one of the old ones, it’s a shame but that is the reality!"
