It's Toulon away in the quarters

Leicester Tigers will go to France to face Toulon in the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup in April.

Tigers finished top of Pool 2 after a nail-biting 9-5 victory over Toulouse at a snow-covered Welford Road on Sunday afternoon.

The result guaranteed Tigers’ passage into the knockout stages as sixth seeds and sets up a clash with Top 14 leaders Toulon.

The Heineken Cup quarter-finals are scheduled for the weekend of April 5, 6 and 7. Kick-off dates, times and match venues will be confirmed by tournament organisers ERC. Quarter-final line-up: (1) Harlequins v Munster Rugby (8), (2) ASM Clermont Auvergne v Montpellier (7), (3) Toulon v Leicester Tigers (6), (4) Saracens v Ulster Rugby (5)

The semi-final draw was also made on Sunday afternoon at Welford Road. The winner of Tigers' clash with Toulon will face the winner of the quarter-final between Saracens and Ulster Rugby. The other semi-final will see Harlequins or Munster Rugby face ASM Clermont Auvergne or Montpellier.

The winner of the first named quarter-final in each semi-final pairing will have home country advantage.
