Kick-off in the women’s match is at 6.30pm, with the men’s fixture immediately afterwards.
The university sports events run all day, featuring everything from rowing to football, with the rugby showdown providing the final showpiece occasion and confirming the title of this year’s Varsity champions.
The rugby head to head has been held at Welford Road since 2002, with the women’s match being added two years later.
Honours were shared in the Welford Road fixtures last season with University of Leicester women earning a 22-5 victory – increasing their run of wins to nine in the annual encounter – while De Montfort won the men’s match 20-8.
Tickets cost £5 in advance from the Tigers ticket office at Welford Road or £7.50 on the door.
Welford Road also hosts the Leicestershire Rugby Union Senior County Cup and Colts Cup finals on Tuesday, March 26.
Nuneaton face Burton in the Laurence Fenton Colts Cup Final at 6pm, with Lutterworth and Hinckley contesting the senior title at 7.30pm. Tickets will be available on the night, price £5 adults, £3 concessions and juniors.
