Market Harborough RFC, North Walsham RFC and Melbourne RFC all host Tigers Rugby Camps next week (August 19-23), with extra tag rugby sessions for three half-days at Harborough and Walsham.
Tigers Rugby Camps are supported by energy efficiency experts Mark Group and provide players the opportunity to experience top-quality coaching in a professional environment.
Coaching is provided by the Tigers community coaching team alongside some top senior Academy coaches and players past and present, including former captain and coach Ian 'Dosser' Smith, Troy Thacker and two-time Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom.
Former All Blacks back-rower Craig Newby, captain of Tigers in the 2011 Aviva Premiership Final, will be joining our coaching team to pass on some expert guidance at each of next week’s camps, and Matt Hampson will also be calling in at the Market Harborough camp.
The camps run closely to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme. Each player will also receive a match ticket to an allocated home game, a hot lunch (except Melbourne RFC), a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle, and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club.
As we are approaching the end of the summer camp programme, book your place now and give the new season a kickstart with the Tigers.
If you are unable to find a camp near you this summer, Tigers are also taking bookings for the October half-term holiday. As well as autumn camps at the British School in the Netherlands and Leicester Forest RFC (October 21-25), we’ve also added new Rugby Camps dates at Chesterfield RUFC and Wymondham RFC in Norfolk, running from October 28 to November 1.
Click here to book a place, phone the Tigers ticket office on 0844 856 1880 (option 2) or visit the ticket office at Welford Road. The office is open 8.30am-5pm every weekday, until 8pm Wednesdays and 9am-5pm Saturdays.
