Join in the banter with fellow Tigers fans on Twitter when England go for Grand Slam glory on Saturday.

Tigers fans took to Twitter as England’s victory over Scotland took them a step nearer the RBS 6 Nations Championship.

And there was lots of support for our Tigers contingent of Dan Cole, Tom Croft, Louis Deacon, Toby Flood and Ben Youngs as England secured a 22-16 victory.

England cricketer and Tigers fan Stuart Broad was at the heart of the Twitter banter, backing his Oakham School friend Croft to score the winning try before he had even stepped onto the pitch as a second-half replacement.

“Bring Crofty on. @LeicesterTigers players always make the difference. Match winning try for him I reckon,” said @StuartBroad8

Moments later Croft barged his way over for England’s only try of the game.

“Kids wear superman pyjamas. Superman wears Tom Croft pyjamas,” @nicholasmlowe remarked and @mish523 added: “Thanks to our tigers we're still on for the grand slam!!!! Well done all stay fit and well.”

There was also huge support on Twitter for Martin Castrogiovanni – and the fan in Rome captured on camera wearing his Tigers home strip – as Italy secured a first-ever Six Nations victory over France.

@TweedCladShibb Tweeted: “Italia ahead as an @LeicesterTigers shirt seen in the crowd. Best minute of the weekend for all regardless.”

@raczzz added: “Seeing an @LeicesterTigers shirt in the Italy crowd made my weekend! loved seeing a happy castro :)”
