The men’s and women’s teams from De Montfort University and University of Leicester go head-to-head on Monday, April 30 in the year’s varsity match at Welford Road. 

Last year’s match saw more than 4,000 fans watch the University of Leicester celebrate a Varsity Night double at the home of the Leicester Tigers with wins for both the men’s and women’s teams.

Tickets cost in advance or £7.50 on the night and can be purchased at the Tigers ticket office or simply call our ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).

You can also book online by visiting the Tigers website or direct through the university student unions.

Watch all the action from 6.00pm with the women’s match kicking off at 6.15pm, followed by the men’s game at 8.00pm.

Your match tickets are valid for both matches and food and drink is available. 

Tickets from the original date of March 8 before the fixtures were re-arranged are valid and can be used on the night.
