JTC Takeover Day has become one of the most anticipated matchdays of the Leicester Tigers calendar and the 2025 edition did not disappoint!
A sold out Mattioli Woods Welford Road not only witnessed their side run in six tries, including a hat-trick for Adam Radwan, against Harlequins, to register successive bonus-point victories, but also enjoyed seven of the club's youngest fans take over key duties to deliver the fixture for more than 25,000 fans.
The seven lucky JTC members and the roles they took on for Round 14 of the Gallagher Premiership campaign were:
- Thomas Gold - Kit Assistant
- Hospitality Host - Ethan Ball
- Groundsperson - Toby Setchel
- Lily Knight - Photographer
- Isabelle Hickey - Junior Reporter
- Cora Gibson - Stadium Announcer
- Hugo Hardy - Commentator (BBC Radio Leicester)
Whether it was helping to prepare the changing room for the arrival of the squad and organise the warm-up on pitch, entertain the guests in hospitality and interview non-playing squad members, ensure the pitch was in top condition, capture images throughout the day for use on the club's social media platforms and website, provide online coverage of the game through Matchday LIVE, announce updates ahead of the action and throughout the game or report LIVE for BBC Radio Leicester, the cubs did themselves and their families proud.
Following the match, they also accompanied the squad on their lap around the ground to thank fans for their incredible support.
The Junior Tigers Club (JTC) is a FREE membership for young supporters to engage with the club through interactive ways, including newsletters and competitions, as well as a pre-match place to meet new friends and get involved in activities at home games.
