The 20th anniversary dinner marking the Leicester Tigers' first European title has been rescheduled for Friday, June 25 following the government’s recent four-step Covid-19 announcement.
The move to a new date ensures that guests will be able to attend the event in line with Step Four of the government’s lockdown restrictions on social gathering which are scheduled to be lifted by June 21.
The 2020/21 season marks the 20th anniversary of the club’s 34-30 victory over Stade Français at the Parc des Princes in Paris to lift the Heineken Cup as European champions. Click here to watch legends Martin Johnson and Darren Garforth share their memories.
The dinner will start from 7.00pm, welcoming Tigers past and present for a special evening with supporters to commemorate the occasion, alongside a three-course meal and series of Q&As.
The celebration event is hosted in partnership with Switch the Play Foundation, a charity co-founded by European Cup Final tryscorer Leon Lloyd and is the UK's only charity dedicated to supporting all sportspeople to successfully transition into life outside of sport.
Tickets for the evening are priced at £125 + VAT. Tables of 10 are £1200 + VAT. Supporters can also secure their individual places or tables with a 20% deposit and the pay the rest at a later date.
Organised in partnership with The Sporting Club, if this event be postponed or cancelled for any Covid-19 restrictions, guests will have the option to have their places credited across to the new date or can be refunded.
Over the coming weeks, keep an eye on the Tigers social media channels for more memories for the class of 2000/01 as we build up to the celebration event.
