The Junior Tigers Club, for supporters aged under 16, reached a new milestone on Saturday when it welcomed its 30,000th member.
Jacob Milner, from Cambridgeshire, enrolled in the Junior Tigers Club on Saturday and was identified as the 30,000th member, earning him a Tigers goodie bag presented on the pitch at half-time in the East Midlands derby between Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints in front of a capacity 24,000 crowd.
The seven-year-old was at Welford Road supporting Tigers with his uncle, Jim Milner, who was taking Jacob to his first Tigers match as a Christmas present.
Jacob, who plays at St Ives RFC, was presented with his goodie bag by Tigers player Anthony Allen and Jeanette Cooper-Hudson from JTC sponsors Next.
"This is the best part of the day," said Jacob as he took in the view of a huge Welford Road matchday crowd from the centre of the pitch. "It feels great."
Jim, from Ramsey in Huntingdonshire, added: "I bought it him a match ticket for a Christmas present and it's been a brilliant Christmas present. I'm quite a good uncle!
"We've had a really lovely day. Everyone has been really great to us. I can't fault the place.
"And then when we signed up to the Junior Tigers Club they said that we were the 30,000th member, and it was 'wow'!
"You can't beat it. We'll be back!"
