Leicester Tigers players lent a helping hand to ticket office staff during one of their busiest weeks of the year as the club counts down to the first home game of the new Gallagher Premiership season.

Tom Hardwick, Jonah Holmes, Harry Simmons and George Worth took to the phones to call supporters who had been ‘dobbed in’ by a mate for not renewing their season ticket.

The players also sold season tickets and match tickets ahead of the big kick-off against Newcastle Falcons at Welford Road at 3pm on Saturday.

Fans can still purchase season tickets and guarantee their place at all home games in the Gallagher Premiership, Heineken Champions Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup.
