The first Tigers Rugby Camp of 2019 started this week and included a visit from Tonga international back-rower Sione Kalamafoni.
Leicester Tigers No8 Kalamafoni joined young players at Leicester Forest RFC for a question-and-answer session, where he was asked about playing for the club and how he prepares for a matchday as well as taking time to sign Rugby Camp shirts, bottles and balls.
The camp runs all this week with players from under-seven to under-14 age-groups developing their game under the eye of Tigers coaches during the February half-term holiday.
If you’re looking to improve your skills or simply just love your rugby, you can join our Tigers coaches as we visit clubs and venues across the region.
Tigers Rugby Camps continue in the May half-term at Kesteven RFC, Stoke on Trent RUFC and Wymondham RFC in Norfolk plus a annual Masterclass series at Welford Road, home of the Tigers.
There are more than 50 camps to choose from plus Masterclasses and the residential camp each year. To see our full list of Tigers Rugby Camps or to find out more information, click here.
