Tigers are the only rugby club to feature in the Social Brands 100, retaining their spot in the influential study for the last two years.
And Tigers finished top of the Aviva Premiership table in the first-ever Sport Social Media Index, which recognised the club's content and interaction on social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Vine and on the club blog. It ranked 148 professional rugby, football and cricket teams, with Tigers finishing 12th overall.
Supporters can enjoy exclusive content, including photos, video and live match updates, via the official Tigers social media pages.
This weekend the focus among supporters on Facebook and Twitter will be on Tigers’ Aviva Premiership trip to London Irish on Sunday, and a return to action in the RBS 6 Nations, with England running out at Twickenham for the first time in this season’s competition to take on Ireland.
