Next week’s courses run for four full days, Tuesday to Friday, and there is also a Tag rugby camp at Guernsey for three half-days (Tuesday-Thursday) for younger players.
More than 100 young players have joined us at our camp at Market Harborough RFC this week and they have been treated to visits from the Tigers rugby skills zone, The Maul and the Aviva Premiership trophy as well as a chance to meet Matt Hampson.
More young players are also preparing for their new season by attending Tigers Rugby Camp at North Walsham RFC and Melbourne RFC this week.
Coaching is provided by the Tigers community coaching team alongside some top senior Academy coaches and players past and present, including former captain and coach Ian 'Dosser' Smith, Troy Thacker and two-time Heineken Cup winner Glenn Gelderbloom.
The camps run closely to the Tigers Academy and youth rugby programme. Each player will also receive a match ticket to an allocated home game, a hot lunch, a Tigers Rugby Camp T-shirt, rugby ball and drinks bottle, and free membership to the Junior Tigers Club.
Tigers Rugby Camps are supported by energy efficiency experts Mark Group and provide players the opportunity to experience top-quality coaching in a professional environment.
As we are approaching the end of the summer camp programme, book your place now and give the new season a kickstart with Tigers.
If you are unable to find a camp near you this summer, Tigers are also finalising details for another series of Tigers Rugby Camps during the October half-term. As well as autumn camps at the British School in the Netherlands and Leicester Forest RFC (October 21-25), we’ve also added new Rugby Camps dates at Chesterfield RUFC and Wymondham RFC in Norfolk, running from October 28 to November 1.
