Kiosk collections coming to Welford Road

Welford Road will become the first Premiership Rugby stadium to use self-serve ticket collection kiosks when Leicester Tigers welcome Bristol Bears in Round 20 of the Gallagher Premiership  this Saturday (April 27, 3.00pm).

Supporters will be able to collect their match tickets using the newly-installed self-servicing kiosks situated in the Ticket Collection Point on the plaza outside the Holland & Barrett Stand.

The installation aims to save time for fans and Tigers staff who would previously have to manually search through envelopes for visitors' tickets.

All that’s required is a booker's 'Transaction Reference Number' - which is sent to the visitor via a confirmation email when they purchase tickets for collection as their delivery method - the kiosks will then print out the ticket allocation.

Ticket collections are available two hours before kick-off on matchdays at Welford Road and Tigers staff will be available to help with any issues or enquiries.

Phil Everitt, MIS and projects manager at Leicester Tigers, said: “Collection kiosks are a common method of retrieving your tickets these days. You see them at railway stations and cinemas, so we worked with ticket partner SeatGeek and All Right Now Ltd to design and install our own, with the aim of making life easier for supports and staff alike”

“When supporters choose to collect their tickets on a Matchday, they will receive a confirmation email with a 10-digit transaction reference number on it, this is the number they need to have to print their own tickets off. Please do keep this number safe.”

The option to choose to collect your tickets for Tigers v Bristol will be available on the Tigers website from 3.00pm on Thursday, April 25.

Match tickets for Tigers two remaining home fixtures of the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season against Bristol Bears and Bath Rugby (Saturday, May 18, 4.00pm) are available by contacting the Tigers ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or buying online below.
