KL Tigers, Leicester Tigers' partner club in Kuala Lumpur, welcomed 120 teams to the inaugural KL Tigers Petra International Rugby 10s.The two-day tournament, which was staged at Epsom College Malaysia, is the biggest of its kind in South East Asia.   It saw teams competing in age groups ranging under-six to under-16 and on to senior levels.   Murray Ross, president of KL Tigers, said, “The success of this huge rugby tournament is an encouraging one. The enthusiasm and spirit shown by the players demonstrates that rugby is now firmly established as one of the leading sport events.”   KL Tigers ran out winners in the boys U7s, U10s, U12s and U14s, the girls U13s and runners-up in the boys U6s, U9s, and U17s as well as the senior men’s and women’s competitions.   KL Tigers have put together a series video diaries from the event, which you can watch by clicking here   Leicester Tigers have strong links to the KL Tigers, with former Academy back Tom Hudson based at the club as their permanent rugby development office.
