Knockout stages of the national corporate sevens

The knockout stages of the second annual National Corporate Sevens kick off at 4pm at Welford Road.

The qualifying stages began at 10am with 12 teams sharing some high-scoring and entertaining sevens rugby.

GForce, QV Foods, Hilton and ABF have made it through to the cup semi-finals, with Knight Frank, Jaguar, William Hercock and Aviva in the Plate competition. Caterpillar, HSBC, Pricewaterhousecoopers and Westleigh line up in the Bowl.

The finals are scheduled from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.

There are also activities for spectators, including bungee run and bucking bronco, displays from the RAF Reserve, the Caterpillar recruitment roadshow and Tigers’ new mobile unit known as The Maul where you can test your rugby skills.

The Final Whistle bar is open and food is also available pitchside.

Entry is by donation to supporting charities Hope Against Cancer and ABF the Army Benevolent Fund.
