Incoming Leicester Tigers lock Tomás Lavanini has been named in Argentina's squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
The 26-year-old was named in the 31-man Los Pumas squad by head coach Mario Ledesma on Monday alongside former Tigers Felipe Ezcurra and Pablo Matera.
Lavanini has made 48 appearances for Argentina and represented his home nation at the 2015 World Cup in the United Kingdom, where the second-rower played a key role in their fourth-placed finish at the tournament.

Argentina open their World Cup campaign against France on September 21 at Tokyo Stadium before taking on Tonga, England and the USA in their remaining Pool C schedule.
Lavanini was confirmed as one of twelve new recruits in Geordan Murphy's 2019/20 Tigers squad earlier this year and will link-up in a formidable forward pack alongside fellow internationals Tom Youngs, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Ellis Genge, Facundo Gigena, Dan Cole, Gaston Cortes, Nephi Leatigaga, David Denton and Sione Kalamafoni.
The lock will link up with his new Tigers team-mates following his commitments with the Argentinian side at the 2019 tournament.
