Learn valuable leadership skills with Tigers

Leicester Tigers are giving teenagers the chance to learn new skills, make new friends and create unforgettable memories on the National Citizen Service.

If you are aged 16 and 17 you can make the most of February half-term by developing your leadership skills with the Tigers NCS programme.
Entitled Tigers Future Leaders, the programme kicks off on February 13 with a residential weekend of outdoor adventure activities including kayaking, orienteering and archery.
It’s followed by a week of skill development at Welford Road, where participants will hear from guest speakers and take part in competitions, plus team building and leadership exercises to develop their business, financial and employment skills.
The final part of the Tigers Future Leaders course will involve the group taking part in a social action project giving back to the local community. The Tigers future leaders will take full ownership of the project, including planning and developing their own strategy to give something back to the community.
Previous groups have put together a fund raising drive for the Matt Hampson Foundation, and redecorated and reinvigorated a community centre.
Participants will hear from Matt Hampson, former players, Tigers’ award-winning education team as well as senior managers from the current Tigers staff who will pass on their knowledge and encouragement.
There are limited spaces available and people are encouraged to book early by clicking here
And for people booking before December 24, the whole course is available for an introductory fee of £5 plus booking fee, which includes a match ticket to Leicester Tigers v Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership and a behind the scenes tour.

There are limited spaces on the Tigers NCS programme, and if you have any questions please email [email protected]
