Leicester Tigers are to reveal plans for a new club tournament to open the 2015/16 season as well as activities for supporters during the World Cup period at a special event at Leicester Cathedral on Thursday (April 16).This event will be hosted at the city’s cathedral, in the headlines recently as the final resting place of King Richard III, on Thursday (3.00-4.30pm) and will be open to supporters.
The event includes top-table interviews with Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill and other invited guests, plus Tigers prop Marcos Ayerza who will be able to talk about the match against Los Pumas at Welford Road in the build-up to the World Cup in September as part of his testimonial year.
Tigers will also reveal plans for supporter events throughout the World Cup period.
