Leicester Tigers v Munster line-ups

Figure image
Louis Deacon will lead out a Leicester Tigers team featuring 11 senior internationals in this evening's GUINNESS® Challenge against Munster at Welford Road (7.30pm).

Deacon lines up alongside fellow England international Ben Kay in the Tigers second row, while Martin Castrogiovanni, George Chuter and Julian White form an all-international front row as Tigers put the finishing touches to their pre-season preparations before the Guinness Premiership kick-off at Sale Sharks next Friday.

Heineken Cup winners Marcus Horan, Peter Stringer, Mick O’Driscoll and Denis Leamy are included in the Munster line-up.

Munster head coach Tony McGahan, who has seen his team beat Guinness Premiership duo Sale and London Irish in the last fortnight, switches Paul Warwick from centre to fly-half, with Denis Hurley moving from full-back to the wing.

Horan adds his experience to a front row that includes summer signing Julien Brugnaut, a French international prop.

Exciting prospects Scott Deasy, Tom Gleeson and Danny Barnes, scorer of two tries against London Irish, are included in the backline, and Felix Jones starts at full-back after a very impressive showing with the victorious Ireland A squad at the Churchill Cup.

Ticket are still available, with all adult entry just £10, juniors £5 and a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) available for just £25.

Contact the Tigers ticket office now by calling 0844 856 1880, book online or visit Welford Road.

Season ticket holders with two/three-year tickets who have not already booked their seats should contact the Tigers ticket office now to add this fixture to their cards in advance of the game.
