Supporters voted Tigers fly-half George Ford as the LeoVegas Fans' Favourite for his performance in the bonus-point loss to Bath in Round 11 of the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership.

Speaking at full-time, a clearly dejected Ford shared his thoughts on the fixture.

"I'm disappointed, very disappointed," said Ford.

"I thought we started the game well, just how we wanted to and had a foothold in the game ... even at half time, we were in a good position and felt we were going to get opportunities in the second half.

"But, we weren't good enough and let ourselves down."

Ford combined with Jonny May in the opening minutes of the game for what would be Tigers only try in the game, which the fly-half was in high praise for his team mate in initiating.

"He's very intelligent out there [Jonny May] and reads the game brilliantly ... I just had to put in the right spot for him," said Ford.

Despite the loss, Ford was proud to see an edge in the Tigers defence which prevented any points from Bath during a first half onslaught which included more than 40 phases inside Leicester's 22.

"We showed some fight, to get a point ... but ultimately it's disappointing."
