In his debut appearance at Welford Road as a Tigers player, summer-signing Kyle Eastmond was voted LeoVegas Man of the Match by supporters using the club's Mobile App so LTTV caught up with him post-match for a chat.
Eastmond managed more than an hour in just his second game for the club after making the move to Leicester over the summer, with his first run-out coming last Friday in Treviso.
His presence was felt early on and only half an hour into the game he had the Tigers Family on their feet when the dual international broke the London Irish defensive line and raced almost 50 metres before gifting scrum-half Ben Youngs a beautiful pop pass for the England No.9 to race away and dive under the posts.
The try gave Tigers a 21-point lead and helped set up what ended as a 46-17 victory in the final pre-season hit-out before the Gallagher Premiership gets underway next weekend.
