Tigers In The Park 2 is our way of starting the new season in style, with family activities and live music in Nelson Mandela Park, opposite Welford Road stadium, in the build-up to kick-off in the opening home game of the season, against Worcester Warriors at 3pm.
From all the applications and nominations of bands who wanted to perform on the day, we have now selected The Method, from Bicester, and local band The Chizzits, from Wigston Magna.

They will be joining headline act Uncle Frank and city band By The Rivers for our season-opening celebration on Nelson Mandela Park.
Tigers In The Park 2 promises activities and entertainment for al supporters. Already confirmed attractions include the Junior Tigers Club Sport Park which, in conjunction with Leicester sports groups, will feature free activities in sports from cycling to rugby and golf as well as inflatables and games.
The Tigers Arena will showcase a skillzone with the Tigers academy, a special performance by club mascot Welford and player appearances.
The Caterpillar Stand plaza will be the base for our Tigers Diary Room with Proof, who are based at Phoenix Square, allowing you to come along and tell us how much you’re enjoying the day in our Tigers video.
