This incredible sporting occasion happens only every four years and for many it cannot come soon enough. It is a spectacular sight, with thousands of red shirts making their way from city to city in support of this great team, and with the stunning scenery as its backdrop, this is an occasion not to be missed.
The world champions will offer the sternest test to a Lions team looking to bury the memories of the series defeat in New Zealand in 2005.
Some of the most memorable matches in the Lions’ rich history have come from games against the Springboks, including the victorious tour in ’97 captained by Martin Johnson and coached by Ian McGeechan.
McGeechan, taking charge of the Lions for a record fourth time, is determined to restore the tourists' unique ethos and has outlined the back-to-basics approach that he hopes can inspire the Lions to a series victory.
With a wealth of experience touring the rugby world, Tigers Events offer you a series of tours from which to choose and all will have the unique atmosphere that makes our guests feel part of a genuine rugby tour.
Managed by people who know and love the game, and hosted by some of the players who have achieved the greatest accolades in rugby and are true ‘Lions’, you can be part of this likeminded group of rugby travelers. As always with Tigers Events, we can guarantee memories and friendships that will last forever.
