This Flashback Friday, we have dug in to the LTTV archive for some of the best finishes from one of the game's most prolific try-scorers in honour of his Leicester Tigers debut 35 years ago today.

September 21, 1983

Leicester Tigers defeat Midlands rivals Birmingham convincingly, 40-3, and the beginning of one of Leicester and England's most exciting rugby careers officially begins.

The match doubled as the club debut for Rory Underwood, who would go on to make 236 appearances for Tigers and play 85 Test matches for England, scoring 134 tries for Leicester and a record-breaking 49 times for the national side.
