See what the Leicester Tigers squad got up to during Day 1 of Pre-Season Camp 2021 in Jersey ahead of the 2021/22 season, including a chat with Ben Youngs about the trip away with team-mates.
Ben Youngs says the squad's Pre-Season Camp to Jersey is off to a good start, with the players pushed early on in the week-long trip of the Channel Island.
Speaking to LTTV on Day 1, the scrum-half said: "It has been good, a good start.
"We had a bit of a compact morning; a bit of weights, a bit of fitness ... a bit of everything to be honest."
When quizzed on the benefits of a trip away together, the experienced Tigers back added: "It's a chance to get bonds, get the camaraderie ... obviously there is no distractions when you're here, because you're in camp all of the time.
"You can layer on all the details you want and there is no getting away."
As for the goals for the week, Youngs believes it's on and off the pitch where gains can be made by the Leicester players.
"It just means the boys can spend time investing in each other and, on the back of it, we should leave Jersey a better team and a tighter unit ... that's the plan," he said.
"The boys are excited to be here ... it's nice to get away."
