Voting is now open for the Lumbers Player of the Month.

Winger Jonny May, hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau and lock Harry Wells are on the three-man shortlist for January’s award. Vote now on the Lumbers website by clicking here.

May, who won the award in September, took his try haul for the season to 11 with a crucial score in the Aviva Premiership win over London Irish, a game in which he also moved third in the league for the total number of metres made with a series of trademark runs.

Polota-Nau has settled quickly into life at Leicester Tigers since his arrival from Australia. The hooker made his presence felt in every game in January, including two enormous tackles in the Anglo-Welsh Cup win over Cardiff.

Wells has been a consistent performer in the Tigers second row and made his first appearances in the Champions Cup during January. Wells is aiming to be named the Lumbers Player of the Month for a second time this season after winning the award in August.

The award has been won by Telusa Veainu, Valentino Mapapalangi and Dan Cole, as well as Wells and May so far this season.

Voting closes at midnight on Thursday, February 15.  The player with the most votes on the Lumbers website will win the award, which will be presented on the Welford Road pitch during half-time of the Aviva Premiership game against Harlequins at Welford Road on Saturday, February 17.
