LV= launch young reporter competition

The LV= Cup returns this weekend and title sponsors LV= are on the hunt for the next generation of rugby reporters.

The LV= Young Reporter has been launched today and invites fans aged 16 and under to submit a maximum 400-word report on any LV= Cup fixture.
One winning reporter will be selected from each round of pool fixtures before an overall winner is announced at the end of the group stage by a panel including representatives from the Rugby Football Union, Premiership Rugby, Welsh Rugby Union and LV=.
The winner will land a bumper prize package, including the chance to interview Tigers legend and now LV= Ambassador Lewis Moody and four VIP tickets to the LV= Cup Final.
The winner will also receive these additional experiences: 
  • A day on the Daily Telegraph sports desk before the LV= Cup Final
  • Attend a midweek Premiership preview press conference with Sportsbeat
  • Attend the post-match press conference and write a match report of the game which will be published on rfu.com, lv.com and premiershiprugby.com
  • Opportunity to sit in the match day press centre with a Sportsbeat journalist
  • Opportunity to interview a member of the LV= Cup winning team at the 2014/15 Final, subject to availability
  • Write a preview of the LV=Cup Final published on rfu.com, lv.com and premiershiprugby.com
  • LV= goodie bag (to include a Dictaphone, LV=branded rugby ball, pens, stationary, hat)
The three runners up will also receive four tickets each to the final and an LV= goodie bag.

To enter your match report, log onto www.lv.com/rugby from Thursday, November 13. The winner and runners up will be informed after Round 4 of the LV= Cup and by Friday, February 20 20.
