A modest Telusa Veainu praised the efforts of the Tigers forwards in laying the platform for victory over Wasps in Round 10 of the Gallagher Premiership when speaking with LTTV post-match.

Veainu, who scored a runaway try in the second half to help secure the nine-point victory at Welford Road, received 34& of the supporters' vote to be awarded the LeoVegas Fans' Favourite ahead of Greg Bateman (16%) and Ben White (13%).

Admitting to not being involved in the game as much as he might have liked, due to the horrendous conditions in Leicester, Veainu told LTTV: "I'm so cold and so happy to be inside."

When asked about his length of the field try, the Tigers fullback added: "I think it was about only the second time I had touched the ball since the warm-up."
